Let's make wishes come true this Valentine's Day ...

Valentine’s Day is the time of the year when we think about the sweetest moments with our loved ones. Perhaps that moment was receiving a box of chocolate and red roses from a special someone, maybe it’s the warm hugs from our mother, or laughing until our stomachs hurt with our best friend. This Valentine’s Day, Eternal Wish would like to spread more love and joy to those around us and to those who are less fortunate through our Wings of Love Campaign. You can also be a part of giving hope and love by uplifting those who need extra care and attention. Through people’s kindness and donations, we were able to help people like Rachel. After their engagement, Rachel and her then fiancé found out that she had a life threatening illness – a brain tumor. Even though they were given this unwelcome news, they still wanted a beautiful wedding. A celebration that would tie the two together, no matter what happened. On August 31st, 2014, Eternal Wish made this a reality and the couple became husband and wife with their closest family and friends in attendance. There are many more wishes that have been turned into memories throughout the years. They only happened because of your generosity. That is why we are asking you to join our Wings of Love Campaign. This campaign has various sponsorship levels, which you can review through the attachment below. Contributions may be mailed in, contributed through the ‘Donate’ button on our Facebook page, or visit Eternal Wish’s website, www.eternalwish.org/donors-page. Thank you from all of our wish recipients in the past and from those whose wishes we will be able to grant in the future with your gift.

It has been about a month into 2017 and before we continue to look forward, we believe it’s important to look back. We would like to share with you a little history of the Eternal Wish Foundation.

Eternal Wish Foundation started from a lifelong memory. Founder, Tom Chirafisi, remembers the time spent in Hawaii with his grandmother who was diagnosed with breast cancer. Knowing that her days were limited, Tom’s grandmother wanted to create a lasting memory with her family in Hawaii.

Tom was thankful that he was able to spend quality time with his grandmother. It was from this experience that he wondered how other families who go through similar hardships and lacking financial resources are able to fulfill this gift of “eternal memories.” In 2008, Tom came up with a solution. The Eternal Wish Foundation was founded to give low-income adults an opportunity to produce that final picture and create a lasting legacy.

We hope this year we will be able to grant more wishes. This can happen with your help. Your tax-deductible gift could make a powerful impact for low-income adults with a terminal diagnosis to give to their families memories they could cherish. Please visit our website, www.eternalwish.org/, to learn how you can donate or volunteer.

Please read this. I know many f you think I am crazy for continuing to work. After reading this story I think you understand my motivation. Happy New Year! ...

For many of us, we had many wishes come true this Christmas. Maybe it was a tangible gift, a vacation, or simply being with your family. We would like to tell you a heartwarming story about a dream and wish that started during Thanksgiving. Frank lived in Florida and had been bravely battling brain cancer for 11 months. His wish during the holidays was to see his family in New Jersey, however, because of his condition he was not able to visit on his own. His loving wife and caring brother decided to work together to make his dream possible. Due to high medical bills, Frank needed extra help and Eternal Wish was more than happy to grant Frank’s request to be with his family. Eternal Wish was able to help Frank, his brother, and wife embark on a meaningful and joyful trip with two nights at a hotel and enough money for gas and food. Frank was able to embrace his family for Thanksgiving. Friday before Christmas Eve, Frank peacefully passed away. Though he was not able to see his family for Christmas, he was able to enjoy their presence during another special holiday. May you rest in peace, Frank. You have fought bravely. It is with your help that Eternal Wish can make Frank's dream possible. It’s more than taking a trip to an imaginary place. What Eternal Wish wants more than ever is to take folks, like Frank, where their hearts are. Home.
